Governance and responsibility
GBA's framework calls for documented roles, clear decision authority and proportionate due diligence. Conflicts of interest should be disclosed and managed. Formal governance information will be published as appointments and arrangements are verified.
Responsible stewardship
Resources should be used for agreed purposes, with realistic budgets, appropriate authorization and reliable records. Gifts, service contracts, dues, tuition and product sales require distinct terms, receipts and financial handling when those activities operate.
Safeguarding and participation
Participation should be designed around safety, dignity and meaningful consent. Agree context-appropriate safeguards and qualified referral routes before delivery. The general website inquiry form is not an emergency service.
Data dignity and responsible technology
Collect information for clear purposes, limit access and avoid unnecessary sensitive data. Agree ownership, attribution, consent and permitted reuse when knowledge is shared. Humans remain responsible for decisions involving technology.
Impact and learning
Distinguish intended outcomes from observed results. Explain the scope, method and limits of published evidence. Make feedback useful and correct material errors.
